Your Role:
This is an all-rounder team based role contributing the operational need of the village and the wellbeing of our residents. Whether you are on a cleaning, catering, kitchen hand shift or helping out in the laundry, you will engage with residents, their families and your team, contributing to the high quality care that we provide and building positive relationships essentially creating what we believe is a crucial component in supporting a ‘Great Life’ for an older person.
Our Village:
Warrigal’s Multicultural Village and team based in Warrawong thrive on providing high quality care and support for older people from culturally and linguistically (CALD) diverse backgrounds.
Tucked in a quiet cul-de-sac, our Warrawong Multicultural Village hosts both residential care beds and independent living units, a mixture of modern indoor and outdoor (garden-facing) rooms with beautiful garden views, residents can feel supported, connected to their friends and family while being taken care of in a friendly environment.

On-boarding:
If your application is successful, you will be required to commence employment to our On-boarding Program. Our training is hosted by our internal educators and will cover all things Warrigal and the essential skills that will set you up for success. Our training is conducted weekly.
To be successful you will need:
Experience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essential. Transferrable skills considered
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with demonstrated interpersonal skills and empathy with older people
Demonstrated understanding and experience in hospitality services
Demonstrated empathy of the older person
Understanding of food safety and safe chemical use
Ability to connect with and support your team
Proven experience in delivering high levels customer service
Proficiency in using technology, devices and software
