The Position
The primary scope of this role is the responsibility for the overall management of two Hospitality Stores located in Northbridge and West Perth ensuring high standard of operating efficiencies, customer service and maximum sales according to the set key targets in line with Company policy and guidelines.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Efficient and professional management of the Hospitality Stores
- Leadership and management of the retail teams
- Stock management – bar coding, "mins & maxs" in line with fill rate, accuracy and expediency of stock transfers between the warehouse and the stores
- Merchandising and presentation of products to promote sales
- Providing customers with a high standard of service and reliability
- Managing and resolving customer queries and complaints
- Achieve Sales / GP and manage P&L and Budgets
- Adhere to Company Policies, procedures and standards
- Ensure the efficient preparation and coordination of stock takes and cycle counts
- Develop strong relationships with the Reward Hospitality Sales team, account customer base and build general retail trade
- Adherence to commercial procedures and Company policies – Code of Conduct Core Values, Workplace Health and Safety, Performance Management, Recruitment; Supervision of key administration matters, including daily reconciliation's, banking etc
- Responsible for the Hospitality Store health, safety, security and maintenance of Company assets
- Liaise with the tenancy's Property Agent when necessary
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing a busy retail store and achieving Sales /GP targets
- Experience managing a high performing retail team
- Experience gained in the hospitality or catering industry
- Strong Leadership skills (leads by example)
- Merchandising and sales skills and knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
- Must be highly motivated and have a strong work ethic
- Customer Service orientated and able to build strong customer relationships
- Excellent time management skills, able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to manage a budget
- Intermediate or better competency of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Must be competent with Eftpos, cash handling, credits, quoting and other retail business processes
- Experience using Pronto POS software would be an advantage
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary Qualifications in retail / merchandising / business or other relevant discipline would be an advantage
