NEW RESTAURANT OPENING July 2024 - The Meat & Wine Co Bligh Street Sydney are looking for an experienced Restaurant & Reservations Supervisor to lead the Guest Services Department within our high volume and fast paced restaurant.
Our CBD restaurant forms part of a vibrant, passionate and dynamic national team. Established in 2000, The Meat & Wine Co prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique steakhouse dining experience.
The Meat & Wine Co has a unique atmosphere and ambiance which is dedicated to our African heritage whilst still having reference to Australian surroundings.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Allocate and monitor all reservations and manage the door during service periods
- Maximise seating times and allocations through multi tasking and great communication between the management team
- Responsible for processing financial transactions and closing procedures as per company standard
- Manage the function process end to end - exceptional communication skills both external and internal
- Work alongside the management and kitchen team to deliver a high level of customer service
- An understanding of up to date reservation systems and working with loyalty programs, vouchers and gift cards
- Impeccable presentation, grooming and communication standards
- Willingness to undergo further on the job training
- Flexible availability over a 7-day rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
