You either have experience in the hospitality industry in a leadership role or you have extensive experience in a management role in service delivery.
Position Summary
The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of hotel operations, including customer service, staff management, budgeting, marketing and sales. In this hands on role the Hotel Manager works to ensure that the hotel is running smoothly, profitably and efficiently, maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction. This includes managing any complaints as they arise, addressing them promptly and effectively. Importantly the Hotel Manager’s job is to focus on repeat business ensuring that every customer feels valued, has a great experience and feels welcome at the Prince of Wales.
About you:
- Strong leadership abilities: must be able to effectively lead and motivate staff members to provide excellent customer service and achieve business goals
- Excellent communication skills: must be able to communicate with staff, guests, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the hotel
- Problem solving skills: must be able to quickly and decisively address any issues or challenges that arise in the hotel, from guest complaints to maintenance issues
- Financial management skills: must have a solid understanding of budgeting, revenue management, and financial reporting to ensure the financial success of the hotel
