Housekeeper

Our client is a high-net-worth individual looking for an experienced, diligent and discreet housekeeper to maintain their home in Toorak and their holiday home in The Mornington Peninsula. A typical week will be 4 days in Toorak and 1 day in Mornington. This will flip during the summer months.

A typical day on the job will require you to:

• Maintain all indoor areas to a consistently high degree of cleanliness 
• Clean and maintain kitchens, including but not limited to, washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen to agreed hygiene standards
• Do laundry, including but not limited to, loading and unloading washing machine and dryer, hanging items to dry, ironing and pressing clothing and linen.
• Conduct deep cleans of the properties as needed
• Run errands as required
• Help out with household events on occasion 

Due to the nature of this role, previous experience (6+ years) as a housekeeper, at a private high-net-worth residences, is necessary for candidates to be considered.

Other essential character requirements:

• Efficient, reliable, trustworthy, proactive and autonomous worker
• Situated close to the Toorak area with own, reliable vehicle and valid Australian driver's license
• Have valid references available to be contacted in regard to previous housekeeping or cleaning roles
• Have or be willing to obtain a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check

The right candidate will be able to commit to a long-term, full-time position, so it is essential that applicants have unrestricted and permanent Australian working rights ideally as a Citizen or PR. If you hold another long-term visa, please specify the type and expiry in your application.
