The Company:
Sirromet Wines is a fresh and vibrant family owned and operated winery located at Mt Cotton just 30 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and the Northern end of the Gold Coast. On site you will find a state of the art winery production facility, fine dining restaurant, Cellar Door with a vibrant café, Tuscan Terrace Café and functions and event facilities, as well as luxurious and relaxing accommodation options.
The Role:
We are looking for new team members to join Sanctuary by Sirromet, which includes our glamping style accommodation. As a Housekeeper, you will excel in maintaining a professional presentation of our facilities and delivering exceptional customer service to our guests. This is a casual position, working a variety of shifts over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays (penalty rates will be paid as per industry award).
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- All general housekeeping cleaning duties
- Undertake daily inspections, ensuring high standards are maintained with exceptional attention to detail
- Ensure all equipment is kept in good working order and stored correctly
- Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests either internal or external
- Maintain operational and cleaning standards in guest’s accommodation and all public areas
- Co-ordinate late checkouts and action early arrivals where possible
- Maintain procedures to minimise our impact on the environment and prevent pollution
- Provide general knowledge of our wines, restaurants, and upcoming events
- Assist with other cleaning duties at Sirromet during quieter times
What we are looking for:
To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
- Recent housekeeping experience
- High attention to detail, hygiene and cleanliness
- Knowledge of the accommodation industry would be an advantage
- Experience working with cleaning chemicals
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Physically fit as this is a labour intensive role
- Team orientated with the ability to work autonomously
- Own reliable transport as there is no public transport available
- Available to work a range of shifts including early mornings, weekdays, weekends and public holidays
- Right to work in Australia
