Housekeeper – Part Time
Experienced private housekeeper required to join a small, friendly housekeeping/ cleaning team for multiple properties. Excellent conditions working as part of lovely family of six (no young children or nanny duties).
- Private residence, studio cottage, office and holiday home.
- Parkdale and Beaumaris locations.
- Permanent Part Time - 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (four hours per day). With opportunity for more hours for the right candidate.
- June 2024 start.
You are responsible, reliable and have experience managing all the housekeeping duties required to run multiple properties and an office efficiently - including high standards of cleaning and organisation, attention to detail, happy disposition, being able to self-manage time efficiently, while being flexible to meet the daily needs of the multiple households and office.
Importantly the right person will have a calm deposition, demonstrated experience at respecting confidentiality and operate with discretion. You will also enjoy working autonomously, using initiative and be a team player.
Duties for the housekeeping team include the following:
- Parkdale – Housekeeping for a busy household in Parkdale consisting of two adults, four teenage children and two small-medium sized friendly dogs.
- Working alone or with another team member – vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, bathroom, dishes and laundry cleaning.
- Thorough clean of kitchen. All dishes washed and put away.
- Maintaining a tidy fridge and pantry, cleaning stovetop, sinks, bench tops, coffee machines and small appliances.
- Garbage recycling and disposal.
- Organisation of cupboards, pantries, fridges and storage areas as needed.
- Laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing.
- Covering of other housecleaners leave days.
- Adhoc errands.
- Beaumaris (House, Cottage, Office)
- Fortnightly cleaning of a studio cottage.
- Adhoc cleaning of small single level house.
- Cleaning of small open plan office (one level) two days per week, including cleaning of office kitchen/lunchroom, desks, meeting rooms, dusting, vacuuming, washing dishes, cleaning of bathrooms, including sink, toilet, & mirrors/glass.

- High standards in hygiene and attention to detail in all household and office tasks.
- Be a non-smoker & pet friendly.
- Excellent housekeeping experience, preferably previous private executive residence experience of at least 2 years.
- At least two references from similar roles.
- A full Driver’s license and own car.
- Current national police check.
