The Commodore is located in Mount Gambier, SA on the beautiful Limestone Coast. We are a passionate about hospitality and guest experience is our number one priority. We offer outstanding accommodation and outstanding food and beverage experiences in our Restaurant and Conferencing and Events including Weddings. Our restaurant was recently awarded Best Restaurant in a Hotel (SA) at the Restaurant and Catering Awards and received a judge’s commendation at the AHA (SA) in the Restaurant – Accommodation Division category. Our Business has grown to include Delgattie Estate – our luxury Hotel, Colhurst House and the Henty which has launched Bar Noky, a new food and beverage experience.
We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager at the Commodore including Delgattie Estate and Colhurst House. You will be an important part in ensuring our Rooms and the property is presented perfectly for our guests.
Required experience and skills
- Oversee and assist in the servicing and cleaning guest rooms and Public areas to a very high standard
- Management and leadership of our team including the on-boarding of new staff and postive culture
- Leading the attention to detail expected by our guests
- ordering of stock and other guest consumables
- Work with the wider Hotel team, including Management to ensure the best possible guest experience
- Financial awareness of rostering to budget and stock control
- Ideally Hotel experience, working with the RMS reservation system

- A strong work ehtic and organisation skills flexible to business requirements
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Be available across 7 days including weekends
