We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor for this busy venue located in remote Far North Queensland.
The ideal candidate will be someone with initiative that will take ownership over the position and cares about the quality of accommodation being provided. You will be happy training all-rounders as they come through & understand that the staff assisting might change regularly. This role reports to the Hotel Manager. The successful candidate will be very hands-on, have strong housekeeping experience, good attention to detail and be able to handle working solo on certain days.

Outside of work, enjoy the local fishing & spectacular sunsets.
The venue caters to the local, tourist and corporate market and offers accommodation, an onsite restaurant & bar and meeting facilities.
This is a full time role offering annual leave. With Free accommodation provided, this is an excellent location to escape the high cost of city living.

Pay Details:
Level 5 Award-FULLTIME with Annual Leave
$27.83 per hour Monday-Friday
$30.45 per hour after 7PM M-F
$34.79 per hour-Saturday
$41.75 per hour Sunday
FREE Accommodation – Own Room in shared staff house off site including utilities
Duty Meals
Responsibilities:
- Working with one other housekeeper 3 days per week, 2 days solo
- General cleaning and servicing of motel rooms
- Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning common areas etc
- General spring cleaning
- Cleaning of public areas
- Ensuring all hotel guests are met in a courteous and friendly manner
- Cleaning of areas surrounding accommodation block
- Laundry Duties
- Reporting of maintenance issues
- Attention to detail
- Other duties as required
A drivers License would be preferred
