Your role at St John of God Midland HospitalThe Human Resource Advisor will provide customer focused human resource services to our internal and external customers including advice and support in relation to policies, current industrial relations legislation, enterprise agreements and workforce strategies based at St John of God Midland Hospital. The PositionProvides generalist advice to Managers and Caregivers on Human Resource matters.Support and assist managers by developing plans and strategies to deliver desired outcomes in developing culture, caregiver capability and an engaged and effective workforce.Collaborate with, coach and advice Managers on workforce issues and assist in the identification of improvement strategies.Provide advice and assistance to Managers on caregiver performance management and improvement strategies.Assist with HR and business analytics, working with Managers to develop, implement and support strategies that lead to improved performance and operational target achievements.Support and work with Industrial Relations in relation to various case management (including formal performance management, performance improvement plans, grievances, workplace investigations and non-work related fitness for work matters).Build and develop relationships with Managers and other key stakeholders within SJGHC.Promote positive relations between Caregivers, Managers and the general public.Assist with Workforce HR projects and initiatives including research, workforce planning activitiesParticipate in Disability Recruitment strategies for the Hospital in line with Hospital Group objectives.You will have a post graduate tertiary qualification (or working towards) in a Human Resource related discipline with sound generalist HR knowledge and experience across a variety of areas including delivery of Human Resources Services in a complex work environment. To succeed you will take an enthusiastic and committed approach with a track record of building strong trust-based relationships with stakeholders. You will also have excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and the ability to work a part of a team as well as autonomously. Advanced organisational and analytical skills is vital.
