AddressAgitator Driver
PNQ currently have an opportunity for you to join our team as a casual Agitator Truck Driver based in Cairns – The ideal candidate will have Concrete Industry Experience, Great customer service skills, the ability to work autonomously, and be mechanically minded. Current experience driving a Concrete Agitator Truck would be advantageous, though not required as full training is provided.
Pioneer North Queensland, which has its headquarters in Cairns, operates three quarries in Edmonton, Innisfail and the Tablelands; three sand quarries in Barron, Cairns and the Tablelands; two concrete plants in Cairns and Malanda; an asphalt production plant and asphalt contracting; a spray seal division and a transport division.
Key duties:
- Strive to lead by example when it comes to safety and delivering great results
- Loading and delivery of concrete to our customers
- Operate and maintain a concrete agitator truck
- General concrete plant maintenance
- Be a team player with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
Role requirements:
- Current HR, HC & MC Drivers Licence along with commercial driving experience
- Current White Card or ability to obtain if successful
- Are results focused, self-motivated and take pride in your work
- Have a professional work ethic with a customer service oriented attitude
- Have a collaborative attitude and enjoy being part of a results driven environment
- Are skills focused and keen to work as part of a productive team
- Have a high regard for safety policies and procedures
- Ability to pass a Driver Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
