About the Role:
The HR/WHS Advisor manages and enhances the Evolve Group HR and WHS systems and processes, fostering an engaged and zero-harm culture across the business.
Daily, you will:
- In conjunction with the Leadership Team, drive a safe workplace culture across the group;
- Coach and mentor all levels of the business regarding HR and WHS to develop a skilled and safe workplace;
- Build team capability through coaching, training and developing staff, so the team has the right skills to perform their roles;
- Manage the recruitment and induction process;
- Administer the human resources information systems;
- Oversee the development, management, and implementation of Evolve Group safety systems and programs to ensure regulatory compliance;
- Conduct WHS site inspections of the premises to identify and manage physical aspects of the working environment that could contribute to injury or illness;
- Manage the incident reporting, investigation, and return to work process; and
- Fulfil obligations and responsibilities under current related legislation.
About You:
- Minimum five years experience in HR and WHS (manufacturing environment desirable);
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Occupational Health and Safety;
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable);
- Detailed understanding of Australian IR and WHS laws, regulations, and requirements;
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor leaders across all HR and WHS-related activities;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to resolve problems in a timely and cost-effective manner; and
- Self-starter with a pragmatic approach to HR and WHS.
