People at PwC is PwC Australia’s Newcastle based HR shared services hub. We support the firm’s 8000 people over their employment lifecycle, and empower them to navigate their careers and apply our policies and processes. We are known for providing high quality operational HR advice, transactional services and an amazing customer experience.

About the Opportunity

As an Associate in the People at PwC team, alongside your peers, you’ll solve problems like:

Responding to a high volume of tier one HR queries on our people policies, processes and systems

Processing transactions in Workday including job changes, promotions, absence management and terminations

Producing confirmation of service letters

Processing vendor onboarding requests

Working with our onboarding hub to support new joiners into the firm

Employee exit processes

Data quality activities

Supporting on key people lifecycle events (e.g. annual review)

HR strategic project support (e.g. change management).

Passionate about starting your career in HR, you will:

Have tertiary or TAFE qualifications in human resources or a related field

Have an aptitude for working with complex systems and processes

Thrive on managing multiple priorities and a high volume of work, in a fast paced environment

Have a collaborative, customer service mindset

Have a desire to ‘dot the i's and cross the t’s'

Enjoy working in a close-knit, fun team.
