PEOPLE DATA ANALYST - SYSTEMS & ADMINISTRATION

As our People Data Analyst, reporting to the Group Manager People Systems & Reporting, you'll be responsible for executing key initiatives including collecting and interpreting complex data sets to identify patterns, trends and insights for data-driven decisions related to People and Performance (P&P).

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives in data analysis and has knowledge on people-related functions. Through governing HR audit models and accurately reporting data, you will support The Star in achieving wage compliance.

This is a 6-month full-time contract opportunity and will suit a Business Analyst with HR data experience!

A few of your responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee information, including establishing ongoing auditing systems.
  • Manage the process for bulk uploads into the system, ensuring governance is adhered to and all testing is completed prior to uploads occurring in production.
  • Build audit models on HR data, particularly, wage compliance, and ensure all your HR project data is effectively governed and accurately obtained.
  • Ensure compliance with The Star Entertainment Group's policies and any relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Act as the Data Custodian to ensure downstream impacts are monitored and understood across the team.
  • Provide support for information retrieval from systems by generating standard reports that will support data analysis.

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, statistical modeling and data mining.
  • Strong ability to gather and document requirements in line with governance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate and present reporting data to senior stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Knowledge/exposure to HR/people-related functions advantageous.

You are a seasoned Data Analyst who is an expert in documenting processes and procedures, always seeking to optimise and improve ways of working. You excel in high-volume data and have great written communication skills to articulate processes and data models.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of data governance and BAU wage compliance processes within People & Performance.
