What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business unit requires a HR driver for our rail operations based in Alice Springs NT, to safely deliver various fragile good products to our customers. As part of this role, you will be required to operate our automatic Mitsubishi Fuso fleet completing local pick up and deliveries + various other general duties when necessary. We currently have a casual opportunity available, working Monday to Friday on day shift starting from 6:00am and finishing at 2:00pm + overtime available on the weekends. Key areas:

• Participate and commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times
• Daily prestart checks, including refuelling and maintaining truck interior
• Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors and customers as needed
• Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
• Complete run sheets and ensure you collect all critical documents
