Adecco has partnered with a leading company in steel recycling, they are after a HC/HR driver to join their team, the role will start as casual but the client would like to take someone on permanent.

Our client in Hemmant is looking for an experienced HR driver with a manual license for $38/hour Immediate start.

Description

As an HC/HR Truck Driver with our client, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a flat-top truck for steel recycling operations.
• Safely picking up steel materials from designated locations.
• Utilising a hook to load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Securing loads by properly strapping them down, ensuring safety during transportation.
• Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain road worthiness.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Driving a Road Ranger truck

Profile

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Valid HR or HC Truck License. Manual license
• Must be able to operate Manual gear/condition b on license is suitable
• Familiarity with using hooks for loading and unloading.
• Ability to secure and strap down loads safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Physical fitness, though this role does not involve heavy lifting or extensive manual labour.
• Road Ranger experience
