Job Description

We are looking for an HR People Partner to join our HR Operations team based in Melbourne VIC. This is a genuine opportunity to support the Operation of our Corporate Functions division by providing professional and timely guidance and support to management and employees in your client group, on all HR related activities. This role will suit someone who is adaptable, can work at pace with multiple commitments and enjoys the dynamic nature of a cooperate HR support role. With an experienced team around you, this role will enable ongoing career growth through hands on contact with variety of operations and functions within our global organization.

To aid your success you will have prior experience in a high-volume HR generalist role and can demonstrate knowledge of employment law. You will be confident partnering with the leaders in your client group and coaching effectively to all areas of the business, peer through to Manager level, to ensure better outcomes on people related matters.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 3+ years human resources experience in a similar role
  • Proven capability in managing grievances and investigations end to end with strong verbal and writing skills.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated application of Australian employment law and Modern Awards.
  • Working history supporting cultural change initiatives would be advantageous
  • Strong foundation in a broad range of contemporary HR principles & practices.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills capable of engaging and building trusted relationships.
  • Capacity to work well under pressure with competing priorities and time constraints.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a business-related discipline.
