HR Partners by Randstad is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Senior People Partner to join our clients People team based in Melbourne CBD (3/2 days WFH).
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract position and plays a critical role in providing HR leadership, professional HR guidance and support across the Operations and International & Engagement portfolios of the University.
This is the perfect opportunity for an strategic, people centric HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor looking to make a change at the start of 2024!
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach leaders on people strategy, including organisational design, strategic hiring, performance management, compensation, recognition, and learning and development.
- Growing and fostering meaningful diversity & inclusion and talent management plans, collaborating with leaders and employees to create a great employee experience and impact career journeys.
- Lead some people change initiatives in the Portfolio by commercially partnering with leaders to develop business cases, support people initiatives and investment decisions.
- Leading or supporting a portfolio through the people programs (engagement surveys, performance reviews, compensation reviews, talent development, etc.).
- Experience as a human resource professional with a business partnering skill set.
- Knowledge of contemporary HR practices and strategies including strategic workforce planning, performance management, remuneration and reward, and organisational change and reviews.
- Proven experience as a trusted advisor with experience in developing people leader capability.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field supported by relevant senior leadership experience.
