AddressCahill Transport offers logistic services across the country including Interstate/local road freight, warehousing and wharfage.
We currently have two fantastic full-time opportunities for HR Truck Drivers based at our East Arm site.
This will suit someone who enjoys fast paced, energetic environments with a great dedicated and supportive team.
The role:
- Safely transport freight to and from specified customer/site locations.
- Practice safe driving and loading activities.
- Experienced with load restraint, weight distribution and COR.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Travel up to 900km per day round trip.
- Undertaking and conducting pre & post start vehicle checks.
- Deliveries will include forklift and hand load/unload.
- Mon-Fri shifts; optional overtime when available.
About you:
- Current HR licence.
- Sound knowledge of the Darwin metropolitan area.
- Safety first mindset.
- Experience of palletised freight and use of pallet jack.
- Competent in coupling/uncoupling various trailer types.
- Ensure the truck is always maintained to a clean standard.
- First class attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Clear understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
