Your new role: 
Our QLD division is currently looking for a HR Truck Driver to join our team based at our Townsville, QLD yard. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will be primarily responsible for providing timely collection services with a focus on safety, customer service, punctuality and a great flexible attitude.

To achieve this, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring efficient service to customers/clients by collecting full scrap metal bins, and/or delivering empty bins, in a timely fashion
• Communicating with management to identify any industry movement and activity, or any on-site concerns regarding OHS, environmental or collection issues arising.
• Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine collections.
• Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required,
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures.

To be successful in this exciting opportunity you will have the following:

• HR license
• Excellent customer service ethic.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Adaptable to respond to transport and operations requests.
• Previous experience in a similar industry would be highly regarded.
