Your new role
As a HR Waste Truck Driver, you will be trained to operate front and/or rear lift Waste Trucks to complete pick-ups across the ACT region.
- Be expected to communicate effectively with your supervisor on any safety issues or delays
- And be responsible for reporting any truck maintenance and keeping the cab clean
- You may be required to assist other drivers on their runs as directed by your supervisor.
What you'll need to succeed
This company is looking for drivers who:
- Have a HR Truck Licence and recent operating experience
- Are reliable and keen to show up for work each day
- As well as being able to pick up new skills and be trained on the different truck lifts.
What you'll get in return
Driving for this company means you will be paid a great pay rate starting at $35 per hour, depending on your level of training and experience in waste.
- You will also get paid for all over time hours worked and have access to free parking.
- This client has the view to transfer contractors to permanent roles after a probationary period, which will come with extra benefits as well.
