The Opportunity

MIGA is embarking on an exciting journey of growth. We are seeking a dynamic HR/Payroll Coordinator who could contribute to achieving this goal by working independently and in strategic collaboration with key stakeholders including other senior managers, their departments, and operational peers to manage and control the operational plan in line with the purpose and the strategic direction of MIGA.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this position will be responsible for:

  • Providing back up support to the Senior Payroll Officer
  • Assisting the People & Culture Advisor with recruitment processes
  • Assisting the Learning & Development Advisor with coordination and administration of employee training and development
  • Overseeing the employee timecard processes
  • Assisting with the coordination of induction processes
  • Managing all HR/Payroll corporate files

What we’re looking for

Success in this position is characterised by effective collaboration and meaningful contribution to the attainment of both individual and team goals with the ability to build effective relationships across broader stakeholder groups, along with:

  • Minimum 12 months in a HR or Payroll Administration role.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an environment requiring a high level of confidentiality and trust.
  • Currently studying or completed Diploma in Human Resources or Certificate IV in Office Administration or related discipline.
