Our Client, a leading global design consulting firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Finance and Operations Manager to join their team in Fishwick, Canberra. Their consultants (~50-60 staff globally) are some of the brightest and most passionate minds in the industry, working on big problems and making a huge impact on developing communities across the globe.
About the Role:
In this exciting role, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's financial health and growth across a Global Workforce. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Managing accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) for staff located in Australia, UK, US, Africa and the Pacific.
- Overseeing payroll and ensuring tax compliance across all international locations.
- Generating routine business intelligence reports to track global financial performance.
- Providing targeted business intelligence to support senior leadership in making strategic decisions.
- Assisting with project management, including budget tracking and logistical support.
- Offering light support with HR processes.
- Establishing and maintaining systems and governance to ensure the Global Workforce is compliant with all cross-border regulations.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance manager role, with international experience a strong plus.
- Experience working in professional services is a plus.
- A strong problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for working in a dynamic business environment.
- The ability to work effectively in both an office and remote setting (flexible arrangement to be determined).
- Experience with international finance regulations and compliance.

Compensation & Benefits:
Our client offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package. (we may have some flex on salary for the right candidate so if your expectations are slightly outside this banding please apply and we can talk it through. )
