Design and Build is thrilled to announce our partnership with a respected Queensland Commercial Contractor! We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Adviser to join our team.
Position:
We're on the lookout for a dedicated Senior HSE Adviser to join us, playing a vital role in implementing and fostering a safety culture across Tier 1 Commercial Construction projects. You'll collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:

• Assists management to ensure it has adequate HSEQ risk management processes in place to identify and control its relevant hazards.
• Manage HSEQ incident investigations to meet internal and regulatory timeframes.
• HSEQ compliance/recertification audits are scheduled and conducted in a timely manner.
• Conduct site safety inspections in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures
• Implement WHS strategies and initiatives
• Provide guidance to project staff
• Document and assist in WHS investigations and incidents
• Conduct WHS audits and report findings

About You:

• General Construction Induction Training (White Card).
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Tier 1 HSE Adviser experience preferred.
• Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety.
• Strong knowledge in high value Commercial Construction projects.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to assist with third-party auditing.
