Exciting opportunity to join Breight Group. These embedded roles report directly into the Contract Manager and is additionally support by the Head of HSEQ & Training. These Advisory roles are key to the continuity of the operation, assisting in the delivery of the contract strategy and day to day operations.
About the Role:
- Identify, assess, and monitor project risks to ensure the safe and quality delivery of work
- Promote a positive, safe, healthy and sustainable culture within the company
- Conduct HSE inspections and audits including, follow up on completed actions
- Conduct interactive field leadership activities to steer risk mitigation onsite
- Administering incident and hazard reporting processes and actions management
- Actively analysing project HSE performance and provide guidance
- Driving HSE competence and compliance throughout all aspects of our services
- Supporting the contract in all HSE related matters
- Educating, guide and mentoring onsite teams on HSE matters
- Supporting the delivery of the HSEQ&T strategic plan and daily operations
- Support and sustain positive client and vendor relationships
About the Candidate:
- Tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety, or equivalent (Diploma in WHS / OHS)
- 2-3 years site based HSE experience within the resourcing sector (desirable)
- Relevant or transferable industry experience
- Strong interpersonal skills; and
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Developed, Positive and dynamic approach to HSE
- Desire to coach and mentor our operational teams
- Ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities
- Proficiency in the use of tablets, apps and HSE systems
- Hold proficiency in leading ICAM or Other Investigatory methods
- Flexibility to meet operational needs
