Jadestone Energy are currently seeking a HSE Advisor (Safety & Assurance) to join the HSE Team based in the Perth Office. This is a 12-Month Parental Leave cover position. This role will provide general safety support to operations through HSE reporting, the management of the audit & Assurance activities, and execution of the incident investigation program.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supports operations in all aspects of HSE as required.
- Support the scheduling, preparation, implementation, and reporting for HSE assurance activities.
- Manage the incident investigation program including monitoring investigation quality, providing support to lead investigators and monitor action item closure compliance.
- Travel to the offshore facilities to conduct various HSE related support activities including shutdowns, regulatory inspections, audits, and projects
- Collate data required for HSE performance monitoring including preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Prepare monthly HSE regulatory recordable reports.
- Provide office base safety support promoting a positive HSE culture.
Formal Qualifications
- Degree in safety, engineering, environment, or other relevant field of study.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with seasoned professionals in an office environment.
- Confident and professional communication skills, written and verbal.
- Root cause or causal factor analysis trained.
- Experienced with MS Office Suite.
- Ability to use data management and reporting applications.
