About The Role:

Our role is on-site providing guidance and support to our engaged teams to facilitate effective health, safety, and Environmental practices.  The key responsibilities will include:

• Championing, promoting and modelling high safety standards.
• Being a valued voice and providing guidance and support to employees and leaders on site to achieve a safe working environment.
• Collaborating with operational teams to integrate safety best practices into daily activities.
• Facilitating risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing safety policies, procedures, and SOP’s.  This will also involve training our teams to operate to a high standard.
• Incident investigations and providing recommendations on preventive measures to stop further risks.
• Assist in managing Environmental matters for the site.

About The Person:

Are you passionate about ensuring the Safety and well-being of our team in a supportive manufacturing environment?

If so, and you also have the below characteristics, apply to join the SEE team:

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety as a minimum qualification
• General awareness of environmental regulations and best practices.
• Proven experience championing safety in an operational environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels.
• Proactive safety mindset and a passion to fix issues before they become incidents.
• Exposure to ISO 45001 requirements
