We have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and passionate person to join our dynamic Governance & Risk team in the role of HSE Partner. This permanent role has become vacant due to internal promotion, is based out of our head office at Perth Airport and involves regular weekly overnight travel across our regional freight rail network. The HSE role looks after our Goldfields Region, along with our Mobile Maintenance Team; MMT are our project team who work across the entire network depending on the schedule of works.
Travel is essential, you will predominantly travel to our Goldfields region, occasionally other regions as required; the role comes with a fully equipped operational vehicle for all work-related travel. As the HSE Partner you will proactively and collaboratively work with our stakeholders to prevent harm to our people, contractors and the environment. Working closely with our Maintenance Delivery team this role has a large focus on HSE risk, compliance and assurance activities.
The right candidate for this role will be able to work autonomously and schedule their work accordingly. You will lead by example and contribute to the advancement of a positive HSE culture including safeworking practices, environmental awareness and improved HSE maturity. As the HSE Partner you will be responsible for: Supporting and advising Managers, Leads and Supervisors to ensure the safe delivery of operational project activities. Providing HSE guidance and advice on Network Safeworking Rules to Project Leads, Supervisors and third party services & contractors. Leading, facilitates and conducts HSE and Rail Safety inspection and audit activities.
