We continue to grow and expand our team! We are looking for a person who shares our purpose and who brings value as HSEQ Coordinator(in Victoria, QLD or NSW)

You will work closely with site teams, so the ability to monitor and report on their performance is essential

Other key responsibilities will include: 

• Conducting periodical site visits and carry out internal audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental management systems in Victoria and interstate.
• Investigating accidents and incidents, and providing recommendations for prevention.
• Maintaining and updating safety records and reports.
• Staying current with industry regulations and best practices.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of safety policies for the sites and take charge of preparing and maintaining HSEQ reports and documentation.
• Promoting a culture of safety awareness among all site personnel.
• Ensuring all personnel have the required safety training and equipment.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of safety policies for the sites and take charge of preparing and maintaining HSEQ reports and documentation.
• Operate within established business processes to create a culture of integrity and professionalism.

Ideal Candidate

Role must travel often interstate to our Solar Farms along our Australia Portfolio. Possibility of WFH for the right candidate. 

Solarig is looking for a person who is demonstrated reliability, efficiency, making deadlines & ability to work productively autonomously

Experienceand Certificates

• Experience in Renewable Energy, Power or Construction highly regarded
• Cert IV or Diploma level in Work Health and Safety or related safety qualifications 
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (ICAM or equivalent) is desirable.
• FIrst AID PRO
• ICAM Training
• Return to Work Coordinator
• Drug & Alcohol Tester is an asset.
• Mental health First AID
• Have a Current Drivers Licence and White Card

• Demonstrated skills and experience in a safety coordinator role 
• Working knowledge of safety procedures, legislation, and project management plans
• Have management and leadership capabilities
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
