We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Officer for either a part-time, or full-time position with our client who is a well-established consultancy based just outside Perth’s CBD.
This opportunity will see you working closely with company management and the projects team to maintain and develop Workplace Health and Safety policies & procedures as well as some Quality.
Responsibilities:
This role would include, but not limited to:
- Maintain the company HSE system and associated policies and procedures, ensuring all documentation meets legislation requirements.
- Supporting projects with HSE documentation.
- Assist with health and safety awareness and promotion.
- Subcontractor compliance.
- Workplace inspections.
- Incident management.
- Assist with the HSE induction and onboarding processes for new staff and subcontractors.
- Assist with inspection, audit, investigation, and corrective action.
- Developing and supporting company objectives and initiatives.
- Continuous improvement in WHS, practices and standards.
- Minimum Cert. IV in OHS/WHS.
- Previous experience with WHS Management Systems.
- ISO 450001 knowledge / experience.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards (desirable)
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- MS Office skills.
- Part-time or Full-time hours
- Drivers License and reliable vehicle or located near public transport.
- Payrate is negotiable depending on experience and suitability to the role.
