The Thread Together program, under the umbrella of Anglicare WA services, provides good quality, new clothing to people within Western Australia who are experiencing financial difficulty.
The Hub Assistant supports the day to day delivery of the Thread Together Clothing Hub (based in Mirrabooka) and operates the mobile wardrobe van at community events, reaching people in need across a variety of locations. The role also supports Thread Together volunteers alongside the Thread Together Coordinator.
This is a part time role working 20 hours per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays). It is a max term contract until 30 September 2024.
What you bring!
To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience delivering high quality customer service and building rapport with customers
Experience working within fashion, including stock control and creative merchandising
Intermediate skills in use of computers and Microsoft software packages
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good time management and administration skills
Reasonably fit, to safely undertake manual handling tasks
Clear drivers licence to operate the Thread Together van

A competitive salary from $62,812 per annum [pro rata] + 11% superannuation.
Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses.
