What You’ll Do
As our HR Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for our dedicated staff seeking advice on employment and workplace relations matters. Your expertise as a HR generalist will shine as you handle a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
- End-to-End Recruitment and Onboarding: you’ll advise and support management throughout their recruitment processes, ensuring we bring the best talent on board.
- Administrative Excellence: managing contracts, updating policies & procedures and maintaining accurate staff records will be second nature to you.
- Performance Matters: your insights will assist management in enhancing performance across our program areas.
- Strategic Direction: you’ll assist management shape the direction of their programs through a HR lens.
- Supporting Individuals and Teams: from providing general HR information and advice through to enterprise agreement processes, employee engagement survey administration, L&D initiatives or health, safety and wellbeing planning, you’ll be there.
At CCT we’re proud of our amazing group of dedicated volunteers. As our HR Coordinator, you’ll also be the go-to person for general volunteer inquiries and applications. You’ll also play an important role in assisting our coordinators with their volunteer recruitment, onboarding and ongoing comms. Plus, you’ll be a superuser for our CRM’s volunteer management module (Dynamics 365).
About You
This role will suit someone who has significant HR experience, ideally within the NFP sector. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience: you’ve worked as a HR generalist and your expertise shines through. You’ll confidently handle workplace queries and matters as they arise.
- Relevant Qualifications: preferably tertiary level, you’ll bring the knowledge and skills needed for this type of role.
- Workplace Relations Savvy: Your understanding of relevant legislation, award (ideally the SCHADS Award) and enterprise agreement interpretation will be valued.
- Autonomous and Adaptable: you’re happy to work independently. Juggling competing demands? No problem!
- Sound Judgment: When faced with decisions, you'll be able to work though workplace queries or issues that arise.
- Effective Communicator: strong relationships are your forte. You are able to maintain open lines of communication with all workplace participants.
- CRM Experience: leverage your CRM experience to maintain our volunteer management system.
