About the Role
Performing in the role of HVAC Technician, this role will draw on your previous experience and knowledge of maintenance and reactive repairs to deliver high quality outcomes. You will perform a range of duties including routine repairs on the mechanical infrastructure, fault finding, change outs, new installations, and preventative and routine maintenance/servicing on the central plant HVAC and Mechanical systems.
Reporting to the Mechanical Services Supervisor, as part of the HVAC Team, you will deliver a high standard of work in line with company, contractual, legislative & safety procedures.
This full-time position requires you to work in a team across a 24/7 rotating schedule. Team rotations occur every 3-4 weeks, shifts include:
Regular days - Day shift- 0700H to 1500H (3-4 weeks)
Shift rotation - Day shift- 0700H to 1500H, Afternoon shift- 1500H to 2300H and Night shift - 2300H to 0700H. (5 days each shift plus rest breaks)
About You
To be successful in this role, you will hold the following experience and attributes:
- Cert III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- National Arctic Refrigerant Handling License
- South Australian Restricted Electrical License
- Current Refrigerant Handling License
- Proven experience working with Central Plant HVAC, Mechanical Systems, BMS Systems and commercial Refrigeration systems
- Experience in responding to and repairing faults
- Understanding and commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and also within a team
- Ability to manage and organise own time and tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
- Current PFA/CPR and National Working at Heights Clearance is highly desirable
