As a valued member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service with a combination of route service work and charter work while fulfilling the following duties and responsibilities:
- Safely operate buses, coaches, minibuses, and company cars in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide outstanding customer service by being polite, respectful, and helpful to passengers.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage and equipment, and provide clear instructions throughout the journey.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and operations team to manage on-the-day challenges proactively.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and submit required paperwork on time.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Manage work hours to comply with fatigue regulations.
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, injuries, and vehicle defects.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must:
- Current Drivers Certificate (DC)
- Relevant Heavy Vehicle License (Heavy Rigid or higher)
- Working with Children Check (VIC)
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Critical thinking and spatial awareness
- Availability for full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Flexibility to operate extra charters as needed
