Description
About the role
Stantec's buildings group in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Hydraulic BIM Modeller to join the team during this exciting growth period.
This position is aimed at someone who ideally has some Revit experience working on building services projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects including, commercial, healthcare and educational buildings.
The successful candidate will carry out the drafting of projects under the direction of Senior Revit Designers and engineers. This position is suitable for someone looking to grow with a professional and supportive team.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Manage and deliver drafting / design building services work packages relating to hydraulic projects.
Prepare documentation using predominantly in Revit
Execute drafting work within time constraints to a professional standard
Produce calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical design will provide the appropriate solution
Reliably support Engineers and Project Engineers
Attend interdisciplinary coordination workshops
Adhere to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures
Contribute to our Company culture
What we are Ideally looking for:
Ideally have hydraulic drafting experience working on building services projects
Understand BIM techniques using Revit
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to use initiative and think outside the box
Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently once set a task
A desire to continue development in the Revit/BIM Design package space is key
