Our valued client is one of the largest locally owned and operated providers in the Southwest of Western Australia. They deliver a multitude of Hydraulic and Mechanical services to the Mining and Engineering industry across the region and are involved in several major projects throughout the state. In order to be considered for this role you will have a strong background and experience in Hydraulic Fitting, servicing, fault finding and repair.
The key responsibilities;
- Shut down maintenance on all hydraulic operated fix plant
- Fabrication
- Cylinder repair & Manufacture
- Pump and Motor rebuilds
- Maintaining compliance with statutory and site policies/procedures
- Field work including heavy diagnostic & fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic – schematics, fault finding, component assembly – pump/valve
- Lubrication skills – lubrication systems Inc. grease system, grease pumps, valves and diagnostics
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting)
- Extensive experience with spray, single line, dual line and progressive lubrication systems
- Full manual 'C' class drivers' licence or above (essential)
- Ability to work unsupervised or part of a team
- Excellent communication skills Inc. writing, spelling, customer interaction
- Computer literate
- Able to pass relevant pre-employment medical assessment and Drug / Alcohol test
