About the role(s)

We are looking for a ICT Field Services Engineer

As an ICT Field Services Engineer, you will take a leading role in the deployment and integration of crucial technologies across our clients. 

Having a background in telecommunications projects will be advantageous.

Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the implementation of SD-WAN solutions (VeloCloud), Microsoft Teams collaboration platform, Juniper network switches and access points, Azure Virtual Desktops, and associated hardware. 

In addition to technical implementation, you will provide comprehensive end-user training and perform rigorous verification testing during site transitions.
 

The role requires travel across various locations within Victoria to ensure consistent and reliable ICT infrastructure is rolled out to sites. The primary site location is in Scoresby, Victoria. 
 

Your responsibilities may include:

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with diverse teams and present technology concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Install, configure, and test network switches and WiFi access points to ensure optimal connectivity and performance across our clients locations.
• Deploy and configure Microsoft Teams for enhanced collaboration, communication, and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with the project teams to ensure smooth integration of new technologies into the existing infrastructure
• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end users to ensure their proficiency in using the implemented technology solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity, WiFi access, and Microsoft Teams usage.
• Document technical processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
   

You will have the following Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven experience as an ICT Field Services Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successful network switch and WiFi access point installations.
• Strong expertise in deploying and configuring Microsoft Teams for effective communication and collaboration.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to networking and communication tools.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver training to end users effectively.
• Relevant certifications in networking or ICT engineering would be advantageous
• Expertise in setting up and configuring WiFi access points for optimal coverage, performance, and security.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Teams deployment, including chat, video conferencing, and collaboration features.
• Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, including firewall configurations and access control.
•  Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network issues using tools and techniques.
• Experience in conducting technology training sessions for end users.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices and incident management processes.
• Excellent documentation skills for technical processes and configurations.

You must have the necessary rights to undertake employment and work in Australia and have a current drivers license.
