Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2300 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.

Following the retirement of a long-standing well-regarded ICT Manager, the College is seeking a full-time ICT Manager to lead the team which supports  both our Wantirna South and Narre Warren South Campuses.  This is an exciting opportunity to put your stamp on improving digital, systems and technology effectiveness in Christian education!

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and capable candidate who will provide the strategic, operational and financial management of all aspects of information and communication technology at the College.  As the onsite technical lead, the ICT Manager will provide day-to-day coordination of the ICT support team and projects liaising with key school stakeholders in the provision of client-centred, efficient, effective and integrated solution-focused ICT services for staff, students, and parents of the College. The College is about to enter a period of significant planned technology transformation that the successful candidate would lead in collaboration with key internal stakeholders and the senior management team.

You are an ideal candidate if:

• Highly motivated
• Bachelor of Information Systems or similar
• Post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
• Project Management, PMO, Cisco Certified Network Associate and CompTIA Security+ certifications or similar will be highly regarded
• Significant ICT leadership experience leading an IT team.  Experience in an education environment will be highly regarded but is not essential
• Have excellent problem-solving skills
• Health and Safety minded
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
• Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities
• High level communication and interpersonal skills
