ICT Sales Representative

Harvey Norman AV/IT Gordon requires a confident and competent ICT Sales Representative to work on afull-time basis for our business. The position is needed to sell our various ITproducts to customers.

Your duties in this role would be as follows:

·       Have in depth knowledge of all the ICT products andservices offered by our business

·       Keep up to date with the ICT products available on themarket, including products and services offered by competing businesses

·       Finding and organising prospective clients for thebusiness using various sources

·       Maintaining rapport and the mutually beneficialrelationship with our current client base

·       Establishing relationships with prospective clients toprovide the business with further selling opportunities

·       Determining a client’s wants and needs and being ableto articulately explain to the client the ICT products and/or services whichmatch them

·       Promoting the businesses’ products and services toexisting and prospective clients

·       Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms withcurrent and prospective clients

·       Record orders

·       Complete and finalise contracts for the sale ofproducts

·       Organising for the delivery of products and ifnecessary, installation of the products

·       Reporting to management on the sales made

·       Assessing the demand for the different ICT productsoffered by the business and reporting to management

·       Resolving any issues a client has as quickly andefficiently as possible

·       Following up with clients to ensure they are satisfiedwith the products and/or services

·       Preparing sales reports, and maintaining andsubmitting records of business expenses incurred

Qualifications andskills required for the role:

·      Relevant qualification at the level of a bachelor’sdegree

·      At least 2 years of relevant experience

·      Ability to quickly understand the products andservices offered by the business

·      A natural flair for selling

·      Confidence and awareness of a client’s needs

·      Ability to simplify a client’s complex query

·      Team player

·      Australian Driver’s License

·       Use ofMicrosoft Office applications
