The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of team that enables our schools to deliver excellent educational outcomes. We are seeking to appoint an ICT Technical Services Delivery Lead position in the Port Pirie region. The lead position will ensure the quality delivery of ICT support and infrastructure management is provided through the team of technical and support specialists.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the team provides superior professional services to our customers (staff and students).
- Support all relevant resources to implement endorsed ICT strategies, plans and services.
- Oversee the implementation and support for adopted technology e.g. Server and cloud platforms, networking, unified communications, and end user devices.
- Effective management of team resourcing.
- Maintain expected security practices and controls across ICT resources under management.
- Provision of ICT advice for school leaders and the team as required.
- Regular reporting on team deliverables and KPI’s.
About You
You will have:
- Significant experience in ICT service delivery within a medium to large organisation.
- Proven achievement in project delivery, particularly related to infrastructure design and deployment.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work proactively with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Significant demonstrated ICT experience involving complete and disparate technology environments, including specialist expertise in one or more of the following: United Communications, Microsoft products (Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure), Apple products.
- Tertiary qualifications in ICT or related discipline highly desirable.
Ideally you will have team leadership experience or show through your experiences that you are ready to move to a leader role. Experience within an education system environment, whilst not essential will be highly regarded.
