Note:This position is exclusively for Level 3 Technical Support. Candidates with Level 1 or Level 2 support experience are ineligible and advised not to apply.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level 3 Technical Support, with a primary focus on Microsoft 365, server management, and firewalls. In addition to offering technical expertise, the IT Technical Support Lead will be tasked with effectively managing a team of support professionals.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide Level 3 Technical Support for Microsoft 365, server management, and firewalls, resolving complex issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions for escalated technical issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of support professionals, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of support procedures and best practices.
- Act as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries, demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate support efforts and optimize service delivery.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Level 3 IT Technical Support.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, server management (Windows/Linux), and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto).
- Proven experience in team leadership and management, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate) are highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
