With continual growth and diversification, we are currently seeking for a ILS Maintenance Writer to join our Bibra Lake office. The ILS Maintenance Writer will provide technical/engineering support to the Birdon LC-M project team. This role is a key member of the Project team, in the delivery of design documentation, design reports and analysis to both internal and external stakeholders across the LC-M project.
Key Accountabilities:
- Preparation of technical artefacts to support technical design reviews by developing the planning and execution of maintenance activities for defence systems.
- Compilation of technical inputs to draft and deliver engineering analysis and project reporting, open and closing reports.
- Produce documents to a high standard appropriate for important third-party customer presentation and review.
- Preparation of engineering and project reports intended for the Customer, this includes generation of commercial documentation as well as development of Defence Contracting Deliverables In Accordance With AUSDEFCON Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).
- Working closely with Birdon Engineering Team members and external stakeholders to develop technical writing and reports.
- Input into and management of databases such as weight tracking, stability and momentum, and yard design details.
- Support to Engineering planning and forecasting.
- Supporting Engineering delivery to project milestones.
- Proactively promoting quality, environmental responsibility & safety within the workplace, encouraging an outcome of Birdon being a place of work by choice.
- Actively participating in the continued growth of the business in all divisions.
Essential:
- Strong writing skills and ability to interpret report requirements, intended audience and purpose of the report.
- Proactive manner demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, identify work priorities.
