Form of workAbout the role:
As the ILS Manager, you will be leading a team of ILS practitioners and have responsibility for the scope, planning and coordination of ILS-related tasks. The ILS Manager will be required to provide in-depth advice to project leadership on the ILS program and support the Integrated Work Package (IWP) for the Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) project.
Please note: this role is based in Canberra. Relocation assistance will be available to the successful applicant subject to terms and conditions.
What will you be involved in:
- Lead and manage a team of skilled ILS practitioners whilst providing in-depth technical leadership
- Coordinate the review and acceptance of logistics contract deliverables
- Contribute to the development and updates of sustainment management documentation for platforms and systems
- Maintain strong relationships with project management, engineering, and sustainment staff
- Apply strategic logistics support concepts to product management
- Coordinate and review the development and assessment of reliability, availability, and maintainability of artefacts
- Manage assets under construction (AUC) and asset impairment for the program
- Examine Task Analysis Report outputs in accordance with Statement of Work (SoW)
- Prepare tender and contract materials, including necessary supporting documentation
What we would like from you:
- Australian Citizen with an active NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance
- Possess extensive ILS experience with a minimum of 10+ years' experience within Defence or Defence industry
- Have a sound understanding of Defence logistics systems, tools, and methodologies (MILIS, Predict)
- Show proven experience with the current One Defence Capability System (Capability Life Cycle)
- Exhibit outstanding skills in stakeholder engagement and communication
