Are you a passionate and skilled Mechanical Fitter, Pipefitter, Boilermaker, Special Class Welder, or Rigger? KOBALT ENC is looking for individuals like you to join our crew and be a part of the ongoing Project in WA.
THE PROJECT - FIFO
- Position: Mechanical Fitter and Pipefitter
- Location: Onslow, WA 6710
- Duration: Now to April
- Work Hours: 72 hrs per week
- Work Type: FIFO, 3/1
- Contract: Casual
THE ROLES
- Mechanical Fitter: Pulley & drive install/alignment, conveyor idler install/alignment & pump installations/alignment, hard skirt installation
- Pipe Fitter: Raw water Stainless steel small bore threaded installation; Compressed air carbon steel small bore threaded installation; Waste Oil/Clean Oil stainless steel pyplok installation; HDPE water/slurry pipe installation;
THE PROJECT - START IMMEDIATE
- Project Name: Covalent Lithium Project
- Location: Kwinana Beach, WA 6167
- Duration: expected to complete by the end of 2024
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday (Saturday Optional), 50 hours per week
- Contract: Casual
THE ROLES
- Rigger: Stick structure build supporting Franna and Crane crew, Piping installation *Available for Intermediate and Advanced Riggers
- Pipefitter
- Understand engineering drawings, welding procedures, and project schedules
- Carry out fabrication, maintenance, and upgrades as necessary
- Assemble new pipes/structures to existing infrastructure - Special Class Welder: MMAW, GTAW, FCAW *Tank (FCAW) preferred
- Boilermaker: Fabrication or Modification of structure, Tank assembly and installation, Pipe guide and support
[THE IDEAL CANDIDATE]
To be successful, you will have...
- Ability to pass Pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ similar experience in onshore O&G /Infrastructure construction in a similar role.
- Experience working with other disciplines, client and subcontractor interfaces, fabrication, and Site(s).
- White Card
- High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform
- Work Safely at Heights Certification
- Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification
- Australian Driver’s License
