We are currently seeking an Italian-speaking in-home carer based in Brunswick. This role involves providing assistance with personal care, respite, domestic tasks, and more, to elderly individuals in the comfort of their own homes.
Position: In-Home Carer
Location: Brunswick, Melbourne
Hours: 4-8 hours per week, with potential for more over time
Language Requirement: Italian fluency preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care tasks as needed by clients
- Providing respite care
- Offering domestic assistance including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times
Requirements:
- Fluency in Italian, both spoken and written
- Previous experience in In-home Care or a related field
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Documents Required:
- Aged Care Qualifications
- NDIS Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Police Check
- Up-to-date Covid and Flu Immunization
