The role
A key role within the dynamic Community Wellbeing unit, the In Home Support Coordinator is responsible for coordinating In Home Aged Care service provision functions, in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the recruitment, training, induction and supervision of Direct Care staff and Social Support staff and volunteers
- Managing staff traineeships
- Organising and facilitating educational and training programs
- Coordinate the day to day operations of the Delivered Meals program
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you will have:
- relevant experience and expertise in a similar role, and/or qualifications in the clinical or allied health fields essential
- a good understanding of the Aged Care Sector services
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs and My Aged Care
- Understanding of and commitment to working within the Aged Care Quality Standards
