Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker in aged care or a similar role is preferred
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualifications
- National Police Check
- First Aid and CPR
- Working Rights
- Compassion and empathy for the elderly population
- Driver's license (preferred)
- Willing to accept 2 hours shift
Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide personal care to elderly clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and mobility
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in conversation and recreational activities
- Help with light household chores such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping
