The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Incident and Problem Specialist to join our Technology team in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane on a Full Time Permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execution of APA’s Incident and Problem management processes including Major Incidents (P1 / P2 / Managed P3 incidents). Please note there is an on-call component.
  • Contribute to the maturing of our Incident and Problem management capability and adherence across technology 
  • Identify risks and potential impacts to service
  • Trend analysis across incidents and Problems
  • Facilitate where appropriate operational governance forums
  • Produce service metrics and reports
  • Drive Service Improvement initiatives across technology teams
  • Maintain policy and procedural documentation for Incident & Problem Management

About you

  • Experience as a Major / Critical Incident Management 
  • Experience in maturing service management practices, with a preference for Incident & Problem Management 
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and key stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, with a demonstrated understanding of the strategic and financial aspects of service delivery
  • Exceptional analytical and Problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
  • ITIL V3 and / or ITIL 4 certification
  • Strong knowledge in using the ServiceNow Platform with a key focus on reporting and dashboard management
