Inclusion Advisor – Hearing

Are you a teacher who is passionate about ensuring all children are welcomed into an inclusive environment and can learn to their full potential? Inclusion Advisors provide educational support, evidence-based advice and recommendations to staff and families in school communities and early educational settings, catering for students with identified additional needs to enable them to access Australian curriculum and participate in appropriate educational programs. The team engages directly with schools and early childhood centres to ensure children/students with a sensorineural and/or conductive hearing impairment and additional needs are supported to access education programs and strengthens the competencies of educators to support children/students with additional needs through the delivery of evidence-based advice, differentiated support strategies and professional learning programs.

The position is based in Alice Springs; however, applicants may negotiate another NT location.
