AddressSYED ZAIN PTY LTD ( ABN:72671993132 ) is seeking a dynamic cook/chef with a proven track record in Indochinese and North Indian Cuisine to work with us in an exciting role in our restaurant located in Dickson, ACT.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least two years experience as a Chef/Cook in a fast paced environment, which serves Indochinese and North Indian cuisine.
- Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent or higher trade qualifications.
- Experience in delivering consistently high quality food to customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to cultivate strong relationships in a team based environment.
- Ability to plan menus for different cultural/dietary requirements.
- Ability to work full-time ( 38 hours per week).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and preparing nutritious meals and food items.
- Prepare meals to meet the needs of customers with special dietary requirements and allergies.
- Order food supplies in consultation with director.
- Ensure safe and hygienic storage , handling and preparation of food and drinks.
- Ensuring cooking methods , portions and recipes are followed.
- Maintaining a clean and well presented Kitchen comply with food safety standards.
- Work as part of a team to create a safe and friendly work environment.
